Instagram is regarded to be a great way to explore the individual’s creative side by sharing photos with friends. This platform allows the users to share materials with other unknown followers. It is also possible to be discovered through hashtags. But, with scammers and cyber criminals on the prowl, it has become important for every Instagram user to increase account security.
If inappropriate comments are received on the shared photos from unknown followers, it becomes essential to block them. Even after turning on the private option, the photos will still be viewed by those already following. Then, such unknown followers are to be manually blocked by following the steps:
- Go to Followers list to identify the followers
- Tip users desired to block
- Tap on menu button from top right corner
- Select Block User option in new window
